Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd Diagnostic Strategies in Neuromuscular Diseases Course and Symposium, organized to strengthen the sharing of knowledge, experience, and current scientific developments in the field of neuromuscular diseases, will once again bring together respected scientists, experienced clinicians, and young colleagues from various centers across our country and abroad on the same scientific platform. Following the execution of our first two meetings in a course format, the intense interest and encouragement received from both young physicians at the beginning of their educational journey and our esteemed academicians who continue to share their knowledge and experience with new generations formed the key starting point for this third organization. Accordingly, while preserving the educational ethos of our previous meetings, we have enriched our program this year with a symposium.

One of the most significant privileges of our meeting is that the practice-oriented course and the symposium program addressing current scientific developments have been planned within the same organization using a holistic, complementary approach. Theoretical knowledge acquired during the course sessions will be reinforced immediately afterwards with hands-on practice conducted on seven separate EMG and muscle ultrasonography devices. In the subsequent symposium sessions, this knowledge and experience will be discussed in light of current literature, novel diagnostic approaches, treatment options, and clinical experiences from different centers. Thus, participants will have the opportunity to experience theoretical education, practical learning, and scientific debate within a single program, benefiting to the highest degree from this holistic educational model catering to different levels of experience.

Another important feature of our meeting is that it will gather esteemed scientists nurtured in our country, who currently continue their work both in Turkey and at distinguished academic centers in Europe and America, within the same scientific environment. This strong academic meeting will offer participants an important opportunity not only to access up-to-date knowledge but also to share international experiences and foster new scientific collaborations. Beyond its scientific aspects, we also view this meeting as a "reunion of friends" where strong professional bonds formed over the years reconnect. Bringing together neurologists, clinical neurophysiologists, researchers, and young colleagues at the start of their educational careers across different generations will facilitate not only knowledge sharing but also experience transfer, new collaborations, and the strengthening of long-standing friendships. We believe this sincere atmosphere will facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience, strengthen scientific interaction, pave the way for new collaborations, and significantly enhance the productivity of our meeting.
